What to expect Gather agency information We'll need current carrier information and production reports, your E&O policy, agency owner information and the name(s) of any business entities with an ownership interest in the agency. Agency initiates appointment by answering the questionnaire, which asks for agency profile, licensing, production, and marketing information. Progressive is limiting new agency appointments in some areas of Florida. PLEASE NOTE: If a book of business is sold or transferred to an agent or business not currently appointed with Progressive, there is no guarantee we will approve the new business relationship. Please consider the impact on your customers when choosing to sell or move your book of business to a non-appointed Progressive agent, as that entity or customer will have to call Progressive directly for all servicing needs.
